FRUIT FOR NEW ZEALAND.—Cases of bananas for New Zealand being handled on the island of Niue. The fruit is sent down the chute to the wharf below to be loaded into surf-boats, which convey the fruit to the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare. The Maui Pomare maintains a monthly service between New Zealand and the Islands.
