• (Received Hth January, 2 p.m.) • BUDAPEST, _ 13th January. Since she was divorced in .1907, Victoria Rieger became a manhater and. adopted male guise, working as a farm labourer and smoking a pipe. Her.masquerade was unsuspected till she was arrested and charged with murdering two farmers at the behest of theirfaithless wives. . -. ; _ Eieger in each case lassooed the victim, hoisted him to a. beam in a barn and left him to die, after which sha. collected, a Teward of two bottles of ■ wine and five shillings. She was sentenced- to death, while the wives were sentenced to long terms-, of imprisonment.
