FATALITY NEAR NELSON
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) '.. . : NELSON, This Day ' Benjamin Arthur Griffin, aged 16 years son of Mr. iA. R. Griffiu, Nelson, was diwned inithe Motueka Eiver at Ngatimoti yesterday. . While' swimming in attempting to cross the river, a Histance of about forty yards, without a'rqst on the bridge pier in the middle, he got into difficulties and disappeared. His body was located near the point o£ his sinking about twenty minutes afterwards, i ' ■ ■ .
