MCGIRR BENEFIT
It was reported at last night's meeting of the Wellington CricKet Association's Management Committee that arrangements were proceeding for a special match! to be played as an H. M. McGirr benefit on the 6th, 7th, and 9th January. Endeavours, were being made to have several of the Dominion's leading players taking part in the match. ■ ;
C: W. Price and Co., 91, Dixoft street, will sell furniture, 300 new novels, etc., in the mart at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow.
People's Auction Mart, Courtenay place, are holding a furniture sale in. the mart at 2. p.m. to-morrow. ;
