Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., dealt with cases in the Magistrate's Court at Petone yesterday. • ~-, Thomas Dougan was' fined 10s for not having the proper lights on his car. For failing to give way to traffic approaching on his right, Kelson Redvers Jackson was fined 10s.
A fine of 10s-was imposed upon Erneet Frederick Astwoocl for having a, motorvan with brakes not in good workingorder.
Invin Trethewey was fined 10s for having no driver's licence. For having no -wireless licence Edward Longbottom was fined 30s, and Harry Thomas Peat was fined 10s.
For delivering a firearm' to a person who had no permit, Sydney Ruben "Voller was fined £1, and Francis Russell Roseveare was fined 10s. Roller was convicted and discharged for procuring a firearm without a permit. William Alfred Irwin, who procured a firearm without a permit, was convicted and ordered to pay; costs, and the firearm was confiscated.
