Offerings at" the.Tvo.ol sales.to-day were 9978 bales, including 3310 New Zealand. About 8480 were sold. Good general competition obtained, and Yorkshire buyers were more active at full opening rates. Slipes we're slightly in sellers' favour. New Zealand slipe, halfbred, lambs, "Kaiapoi," sold at 13d highest; average, 1054 d; scoured combings, "Braemar," highest 19d, average 17% d. (Received 24th November, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 23rd November. Messrs. Henry Dawson, Son,- and Co., Ltd., declare that the London wool sales have opened under the healthiest of conditions of the year. The quantities of wool available are but moderate, and most of the-old; fine'grades of wool have been cleared. ' ■ ,' 1The outlook for crossbreds is hopeful, due to the demand for knitted goods.
