NEW TOURIST LAUNCH
The new tourist launch Tinopai, which1 was launched at Auckland on Saturday and' left there oil Monday for Pieton, . via Taiurahga, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, passed Cape Palliser at 11.40 a.m. tO-day, and was expected to reach Wellington about 4 p.m. The Tinopai, which is intended for passenger and tourist work on the Marlborough Sounds, is manned-by the owner, Captain M. The Tinopaij is 45 feet long, has a beam of 12 feet, and a 1 draught' of 3 feet 6 inches. 'She is powered with a six-cylinder Diesel: engine, which gave a v speed on the trials of 10 knots.
