ACCUSED'S MOVEMENTS

ON NIGHT OF TRAGEDY

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) - ' BLENHEIM, This Day. , The Flood murder case trial was resumed to-day. ' '

Tennyson Connolly, who drove cows daily past the deceased's whare, said he last saw Flood alive on 3rd Noveuir ber, 1931, at about 3.30 p.m. That night at about 9 o'clock he passed.the cottage. He saw nobody about, and there was no -light. Witness said he knew the accused- Tarrant and his horse, but he saw neither that night. .

Franklyn James Paislow deposed that he saw the accused at about 6.30 on the night of 3rd November. If ithe- accused said he saw or spoke to witness at 8 o'clock that night it was not true.

Isaac John Parfitt, a taxi-driver, said he knew the accused well. On the night of 3rd November he did not drive past the- Clarendon Hotel, and did not see the accused or. hear him call to

Cross-examined, he admitted that many people called "Good-night" frequently, and he might not remember an isolated instance. Witness said that another taxi-driver was often mistaken for himself.
