THE WATERSIDERS
STOP-WORK MEETING
A stop-work meeting of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Industrial Union, held to-day to discuss the freezing workers' dispute as affecting Wellington watersiders, lasted from 8 a.m. until 12.30 p.m.
The meeting was closed to the Press, but at its conclusion the president of the union (Mr. Cox) stated that nothing regarding the result would be released for publication until after a meeting of the executive of the union' this afternoon.
It. is undertood that no definite discussion with regard to the handling of meat was reached at the meeting.
