BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with at ■"'.•the Magistrate's Court' yesterday afternoon by/Messrs. W. Wolland and H. D. Grocott", J.P.'s. : • ■":■■■; :---':' i ■A fine of £1 was inflicted on Richard Wedderspoon for negligent driving. Aniy G. Kane and Warwick Ladd were each fined £1 for breaches of the parking regulations. Allona Lambourne and James Towersey were each fined 10s for similar offences, •
A fine o£ £1 was inflicted, on-Warwick Ladd.for driving without a. licence. Arthur M. Brown was fined 5s for a similar offence.
Charles W. Duncan, Donald W. Newton, and lan H. Smith were each fined 10s for not ha.ving motor vehicles- properly lighted after dark. Cyril Miles was fined 5s for^not having a light on a bicycle. Using an unlicensed motor-car cost Trevor A. < Jarvie £2. On a further charge of usingivrong.number-plates on a motorcar he was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs.
Driving in a manner which might have been dangerous to the public cost Kobert Moffat £1.
For not having a bell on a bicycle, Maurice P. Murphy was fined os. / A fine of 10s was imposed on Gerald G. Suiter for driving in the wrong direction in a one-way street.
Mgan Ranchod was fined 10s for failing to give way at an intersection. '
A fine of £2 was imposed on Raynham S. Middletpn for haying defective brakes on a motor-van.
D'ayal Maken was fined £1 for failing to keep to the left.
