SETTLEMENT ON LAND

A SCHEME CHOSEN

Two alternative schemes for the settlement of the unemployed on the land have been under consideration for the past week by the Minister of Employment (the Eight Hon. J. G. Coates). Mr. Coates stated this afternoon that as far as he was concerned, finality had been reached and the scheme which had been chosen would be ready for submission to Cabinet after tho Treasury had been consulted on the financial aspect.
