FLUENZOL LTD DIVIDEND
Directors of Fluenzol Ltd. report that the past year has bepu one of great activity so far as the company is concerned. To counteract the reduced spending power of the people, greater efforts have been necessary to retain the volume of sales. Advertising on all products has been fully maintained in anticipation of the return of better times. During, the last few months "Q-tol Tooth Paste" had been manufactured and launched.."The year has ended," states the managing director, with a substantial profit, which, although not quite so high as, the previous year, is, in view of general circumstances, very satisfactory indeed. Turnover showed a reduction of about 13 per cent., the figure's being a little better than those of the year ending 1930. After allowing, for ample depreciation, bad debts etc., the riet profit is £1206 Is lOd, out of which £130 has been reserved for income tax and £500 written off goodwill account (leaving- a balance in that account of £500). The balance, viz., £576 Is lOd, has been transferred to the appropriation account."
The directors recommend that a dividend of 8 per centum be paid on all shares, abEorbing £440 of the latter, mentioned amount. ._ ■ ' , Shareholders are invited to look fpr■ward with confidence to the coming year. AH lines are in constant demand, and "the reputation of the company and its products, it is stated, stands high with the public, the wholesalers, and the retailers."
