WELLINGTON ROSE SHOW

That people have gone back to the simple pleasures was evidenced by the record entries'and attendance at the recent Wellington Spring Show. The rose show to be held on Wednesday, 23rd November, in the Town Hall is, however, the outstanding show of the season, as the rose is everyone's favourite. The season has been ;i wonderful one for roses as also for pansies, violas-, and cut flowers. The show is for one day only and will be opened by the Mayor at 3 p.m.
