NAPIER, 20th November. The Hawke Cup cricket match between Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay, played on Nelson Park, was concluded on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Hawkes Bay by nine wickets apd four runs. Wairarapa batted first and knocked up 198 runs (Blamires 45, Wilson 59, Massey 37). Lambert caused.the visitors trouble, taking five wickets for 27 runs, while Garrod took three for 41.

Hawkes. Bay replied strongly with -350 (O Brien 95, Lambert 04, and Fitzwatei 46 not out).
