ORDER FOR SPADES
One result of the hobbies' exhibition in the Town Hall last week was the receipt by the Boys' Institute workshop of an order for the manufacture of 17,000 children's wooden spades for sale during the Christmas season. No time was wasted in making a start with this big order, and the boys.were turning out an average of three gross of spades a clay.
