MANNING—HERBERT.

News has been received by cable of the marriage at Colombo on Friday, 18th November, of Dorothy Elizabeth, eldest daughter of- Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Herbert, Wellington, to- Jeffrey Manning, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Manning, "The Park," Nottingham, England. Mr. Manning is on the staff of the Asiatic Petroleum Company and is stationed in India.. Mrs. Herbert and Miss. Betty Herbert, who were present at the ceremony, left Colombo on Saturday by the Orama on their return journey to New Zealand.
