: Tho police said that the complainBnt* who waa /working at; Westfleld, ■was in the' hotel when, the accused -entered, abused him for accepting work, and then picked him lip by the collar and threw him out of the door. Several police witnesses repudiated statements which the police, alleged "they ■had made previously. \ Mr. P. H. Lovien, S.M., said that the complainant had a. perfect right to work at Westfield when good work was Offering. "It was a great pity that three young men had gone back on their statements.
