.(Received 19th November, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, 18th November. In the semi-finals of the New South Wales . tennis doubles championship Vines and Gledhill beat Donohoe and Duhlop, 6-3,. 6-2, 6-4; Allison and Van Byn'beat Crawford and Sproule, 6-4, 6-3, 6-1.

Owing to an injury to his back, Crawford will not participate in the tennis test at' Brisbane, against the Americana. C. Sproule has been selected to replace him.
