We will have a look for it,'f said Joan. afternoon- '--Joan's- mother' was going out;' and Joan had to dV some dusting. Afterwards she was going to look for the lost will.' So that afternoon Joan started dusting the old grandfather clock which her grandfather had left them. /He had also said that it .was very valuable and advised them to tak© care of ,it. As Joan was dusting it, she heard a, noise in. the kitchen,.so she went but to see what it was. But it. was only the door that had slammed, so she came back again. Whilst doing so, she tripped over the carpet and fell against the clock, and with a big crash it fell down on its face. * Joan did not-know what to do, and as she bent over the clock.she; found a sheet of paper. Just then her mother came, in, and Joan told her What had happened and showed her the piece of paper that she had found. It turned out to be the lost will, so the lawyers did not sell the house after aIL Joan, always says it's just because of the old carpet that they were going to sell; "SEA QUEEN" (12). City: ' '
