KILBIRNIE SCHOOL
The Kilbirnie Home and School Association held its final dance of the season recently, when, there was an attendance of over 150 dancers. The hall was gaily decorated for the occasion, and A all were in festive spirits. Mrs. F.. M. Sherwood (honorary secretary) and an energetic committee were responsible for the arrangements, and their efforts deserved/the highest praise; '■ Songs were delightfully rendered by Miss-P. Martin and two very enjoyable tap dances were given by. Miss M. Flannigan, who is' an of the school. Novelty dances were won by Mrs. CM. Howard and Mr. O 'Hagari,. Mrs. Reed and Mr.1 F. M. Sherwoodj and Miss M. Dickens and Mr. Clay.. Modern and old-time dances were included in, the programme, the military, two-step.and old-time waltzes proving very popular. Mr. J. McKay (president) extended everyone present hearty greetings for the coming festive season, and thanked all' for .their generous support during the year.. ■-'■'■ : ~
