William Vinard, a seaman, aged 50, appeared for sentence On. a. charge of ■being idle and disorderly', in' that he had insufficient lawful means' of'support, and two further- charges involving the'theft Of a watch and a, /bottle of milk. He'.waf sentenced to six.months imprisonment for stealing ; the watch and to tb\ee months for. being idle and disorderly. On the .charge of. stealing the bottle of milk he- was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence ■Within twelve months if called upon. . Ernest Trimmer, a labourer, aged* 64, was sentenced to three "months' imprisonment on a charge of beiiij* idle and disorderly in that ho had insufficient lawful means of support. A remand until .25th, November was granted in the case of John lyes O'Shea,a labourer, aged 3s, who.Was charged with stealing a letter containing £2, the property of the PostmasterGeneral. '.'-.■'
