HOBBIES EXHIBITION

Excellent entertainment was provided at the hobbies exhibition in the Town Hall last evening in connection with Boys' "Week. A selection was played by the Boys' Institute Band, the V.M.C.A. boys gave a gymnastic display, and members of the Boys^ Institute did vaulting and physical culture exercises. Weight-lifting was demonstrated by the older boys, and pupils of Mr. Clement May presented a playet. The working models attracted considerable interest. This evening the Boys' Institute Band will march from the G.P.O. to the Town Hall, via CustomLouse quay and Willis street, and the Boy Scouts will provide the entertainment in the hall. The prizes will be presented at the close of the exhibition this evening.
