PLIMMERTON CLUB

The Plimnierton Bowling. Club was favoured with a visit from members of the Hataitai Club last week-end, when a local team, comprising F. Boss, G. Ueale, F. Garner, and S. Martin (s) engaged in a friendly game with J. Doherty, W. Urquhart, J. Taylor, and E. E. Stonebanks (s). The local team proved the victors by "23-11. Charlie Mclntyre (Hataitai) skipped a team against Ted Stephens (Plimnierton) the-former forging ahead toward the close'of the game to win by 25-17. Mr. J. .Wright (president) welcomed the visitors and their friends, and. expressed the hope that the. visit would be the forerunner of many during the present Reason. Mr. Stonebauks, in replying on Jbehalf of the visitors,- expressed their pleasure at the cordial welcome extended, and stated that one and all had thoroughly enjoyed the outing.
