MUSHET—MULFOBRD.
i The wedding was celebrated recently at St. Andrew's Church, The Terrace, of Mona, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. "Mulford, Khandallah, to Lancelot Buchanan, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mushct, Oamaru. The Boy. D. J. A. Shaw (Hastings), assisted by the Eev. E.: S. Watson, M.A; (Khaudallah), pei-formed the ceremony, and Mr. Alee Mill, LiA.B., presided at the organ. Miss Dorothy. Newman sang solos.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory crepe de suede, fitting to the figure, and cut on princess lines, with long train embroidered with lovers' knots of silver and pearls, the same being carried out on the bodice, which had long-fitting sleeves. Her veil of Brussels net, lent by a cousin, was held with a coronet of orange blossom, and covered the train. She carried a shower bouquet of white tulips and orchids with touches of lemon.
Three bridesmaids, Misse3 Euth Holland (chief), Maud Conibear, and Millicent Mushet, wore frocks of' watergreen nicolette, with deep capes and fiaTed skirts and: deep hip frills, the capes being fastened at the back with bows. They wore head bandeaux of orango and green, flowers, finished with ribbon rosettes at the s.ido, and carried bouquets of orange and lemon tulips. They also wore amber necklaces and earrings (the gifts of the bridegroom). Joy Mulforcl (sister of the bride) was a dainty flower girl, wearing watergreen nieolette with cape sleeves and two shaped frills on the skirt, finished with. a. sash ending in a bow at
the back. She also wore a head bandeau of orange and green flowers, and carried a basket of orange and lemon tulips. . . . . ;' ;
Mr. Sid Bradford (Levin) was best man, and Mr. John Lane and Mr. Lyle Turner groomsmen. '..
A reception was held at the Dominion Farmers' Institute, Featherston street, the bride's mother wearing a frock of garnet mariette with deep cape and cowl collar, and a hat.to inateh. She carried a bouquet, of tulips and; anemones to tone. ; Miss Marjorie Mulford (sister of the .bride) was dressed in orange crepe de chine, and carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies. . The bridegroom's mother wore navy blue crepe de chine with navy hat trimmed with red, and carried a bouquet of tulips and anemones to tone. Mrs. Turner (the bridegroom's grandmother) was dressed in black with touches of white, and carried a bouquet of mauve sweet peas and anemones. .
Mr. and Mrs, Mushet left/later for the North, the • bride travelling in a navy blue costume 'flecked with white, and hat to match. She wore a fur of South American skunk (the gift of the bridegroom).
