GRAVES AT WALTON

"The. Post's" London, correspondent, .writing on nth October, quotes the accompanying extract from the "Surrey Herald," dated 7tU October;—"We understand that the project of providing":a'brass tablet iv Walton Parish Church to the jnem-' oiy o£ 19 New" Zealand officers and mm and a nurse who are buried in Walton Cemetery, is within measurable distance of being accomplished. The initiation of the matter was taken up by Captain P. B. Garrett, C.8.E., R.N., of Weybridge, who has beeu in communication with influential residents in New Zealand, with the result that the necessary funds have been guaranteed. Captain Garrett will shortly be meeting the members of the New Zealand Society, in London,. when arrangements will doubtless be made for the.-provision of the memoriali and a date selected for the unveiling ceremony."
