IMPORTED BACON
AGREEMENT REACHED
(Brltisn Official Wireless.) (Received 17th" November, 11 a.m.) ETTGBY, 16th November. A provisional agreement has been reached with tho ten principal baconexporting countries to reduce British bacon imports for: two months beginning 22nd November, by 15.3 per cent. These exporting countries are Denmark, Poland, Holland, Sweden, Argentina, United States, Eussia, Latvia, Lithuania, arid Estonia.
The emergency meat restriction agreements, with. Argentina, Australia, and Now Zealand, are to be reviewed before the end of next month.
