'Elector.'I —You have misinterpreted the Prime Minister's statement. Mr. Stewart's advice was sought as to the term of extension whore local bodies wished to avoid the expense of transmitting redemption funds and paying exchange. It was not stated that extension had been arranged. Legislation would, presumably, be permissive and the opinion of the Municipal Association is being obtained.before action is taken.
