Emotion, who has 8.11 to carry in the Taratahi}Hack Handicap at Carterton on Saturday, has been off the scene since a couple of runs sit the Wairarapa Meeting last Easter. -He is a six-year-old chestnut gelding by Lord Quex from the Elevation; mare Submersion, the dam also of Subjection and Projection, and he carries- the colours of his" breeder, Mr. W. E. Bidwill. He won the Spring Trial Stakes, at Trentham on Labour Day twelve months ago, and he also went an excellent race in the Douro Clip in January, such efforts indicating his promise, but he has been raced very little since... Some, time ago he was sore, but as. he is privately trained nothing is known about the progress he has lately made. "
