THREE DIVIDENDS
AT CARTERTON RACES-
Three dividends in fields of nine or more runners, and two dividends in fields of between five and eight: (inclusive) runners, allowing .for brackets, will be paid at the CaTterton Eacing Cliib^s Meeting at Clareville on Saturday. The- stewards of the club have decided to take advantage of both special resolutions recently passed by the Racing Conference.
As the fields stand- at present three dividends will be; payable in four of the eight events, and two dividends in three of the remaining -four events. TJp tili noon to-day no scratehings had been made. .. .
The first race starts at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday, and the meeting is due to conclude at 4.55 p.m. A special train from Wellington is advertised to leave Lambton Station at 7.50 a.m., arriving back in Wellington at 9.15. p.m. The return fareß are-7s and ss. Admission to the course is 2s,6dj-and ladies are free-to the lawn. ■•• -.
