NEW PI MOUTH, 16th November.

Sentence of death was passed by Mr. Justice Kee.. to-day on Hubert Cedric Jepson after the jury had found him guilty of the murder of his wife and two sons, aged 12 years and 18 months, respectively. •'..-.

Tho jury made a strong recommendation to mercy.

Jepson gave no visible display of emotion when sentence was passed, and he had nothing to say.
