BODY IN STREAM
TAWA FLAT DISCOVERY
The body of a man who has fceen daentified'as that "of Nicholas Gillson Mbch-/aged 84, of; Jessie street, Wei-, lington, was -clisoovered in a stream n y ear Pakapu road, Tawa Flat, on Tuesday. There was nothing to indicate how the deceased came to be whore he was found. On 29th September he left his home ..to visit,his daughter in Auckland, .but; ,ho did' ilot. reach his destination. Efe is known to have got as faras ToAwamutu, whore ho told the railway officials that, he was going to 'Wellington, not Auckland. A guard saw him safely on an express to Wellington, and relatives were waiting at Thorndon for-him,- but he did not arrivo. The place where the deceased was found was about half a mile from the road and a mile from, tho railway lino. An inquest -vjrill be held.
