MERCANTILE LEAGUE.
Matters concerning the matches set down for sth November and abandoned on account o£ the rain were dealt with..at last evening's meeting of. the Management Committee o£ the Mercantile Cricket League. The committee ruled that the winners of the games played be credited with the three points and all the games be played at the end of the season, if necessary.- ■ * As the D grade competition finishes four weeks before the A, B, and C grades, it waa decided that after the close of the regular competition, a further round be played, and a separate trophy, (donated by the Management Committee) be awarded to the team scoring the most points.
