NO BILL THIS SESSION

Cabinet has decided not to proceed with the Tomato Growers' Registration Bili, the purpose of which was to provide for the registration of all growers with moro than 500 plants.

It is believed Cabinet took up the attitude that registration Bills are not popular with the public nor with members. Probably the desire to accelerate the business of the House by avoiding measures that are likely to lead to protracted discussions also had something to do with the Government's decision;
