Woodville. G. Jones, who is apprenticed to Lack's trainer, H. E. Russell, will ride him m the Flying Stakes to-morrow, and is entitled to claim a 51b allowance. A party of New Zealand sportsmen who have been attending recent race meet-' ings in Australia returned by the Zealandia, which arrived at Auckland on Tuesday. They included Messrs. W. Higgins, of Wellington; R. J. Reid, of Hamiltou; J. C. Gleeson, of Auckland; L. Curtis, of Dunedin; and M. O'Brien and D. Fraser, of Christchurcli. Mr. J.
