LONDON, 13th October.
The "Evening Standard," in an editorial, headed "What Ottawa Left Undone," says:—"lmports of foreign meat; are regulated, iut South Ameri-can-dulled beef is -left', untouched. The avowed object of the meat quota.is to improve the market h-ere. How can that be done if: South America is allowed to continue to export the same volume at lower pricey!"
