QUIET MARKETS

The butter market is slow. Danish, 112s to 114s per cwt.; choicest New Zealand is scarce at 108s to 110s; first grade 102s; choicest unsalted New Zealand, 110s to 113s. Australian, choicest salted 100s, and unsalted 102s to 104s.
■ The cheese market.is quiet. New Zealand, coloured 60s per cwt, white 65s to 665; Australian, coloured 58s to 595, white 645. • :
Messrs. H. J. Mills, London, reported the, butter market as dull and Siberian butter selling at 88s to 90s: Baltics, 92s to 965; .Argentine, 86s to 925. ■ The cheese market' is , quiet, Canadian, white and coloured, selling at 67s to 68s. ■• •
Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co. are advised by Messrs. J. J. Lonsdale, London, as: follows:—Finest New Zealand butter, 109s to 110s; first, 102s; Australian, 98s to 100s. Cheese market quieter; New Zealand, white .65s to 665, and coloured 60s to 61s.
