WASHDsrGTOjST, 11th October. The Farmers' National Belief Conference,, an organisation growing out of recent farm strikes at lowa and elsewhere in the Middle West, to-day announced a "farm march upon Washington'/ abont 7th December.

Between 500 and 5000 disgruntled farmers are espeeted to come in trucks anS motor-cars to present to the Government definite demands, including a moratorium for debts, rents, taxes, and mortgages; the postponement of foreclosures, tax sales, and evictions; also direct financial relief for indigent farmers. . ■ . • ■ '.

In view of the fact that a Communist march, about 15th December is definitelyplanned, also the possibility of another bonus expedition abont the same time, the police chief, Mr. Glassfqrd, has requested the authorities to grant' Mm complete power to evict if necessary, so as to preclude the possibility of military action such as was taken against the bonus marchers in July, when they were forcibly evicted from Washington.
