• Msssrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., piave received the following market re- ; port from,' Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, dated Bth! October:—"New .Zealand butter, finest 112s per cwt, first 106s; market very slow. JJew Zealand .cheese, ■white 66s per cwt, coloured 60s; market steady." Messrs. Joseph Nathan received a later cable to-day reporting:—"New Zealand' Butter: Finest 112s per cwt; first, 104s per cwt. New Zealand cheese: White, 65s per cwt; coloured, 60s per cwt. both markets very quiet. Sales of 'Kangaroo' .(Australian) butter for shipment during the first half of October "were made to--tlay at 92s iper cwt, c.i.f."
