Lyttelton Pictures, Ltd., report a net profit, after providing for. depreciation and income tax,'of £134 15s lid, as against last year's profit of £204 14s lid. Under the provisions of the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, 1932, it was necessary to reduce the rent payable to the company by 20 per cent., a reduction of £104 per annum, the amount of the reduction from Ist April to the close of the financial year being £41 14s 4d. As against this the mortgage interest was' reduced from 6 per cent, to 5 per cent., but the annual saving will only amount to £15. The company paid a dividend of 6 per cent, per annum.
