MASTERTON CANDIDATES
Names have now been claimed for the three unnamed horses in tl'e Masterton acceptances. ' > ■ ■.:.'■.. The Paper Money colt in the Nursery Handicap, who .is from Kilcalm (the dam of Te Awhina and Hampden), has been called Dollar Prince. He was purchased at the Trentham sales in January by the Opaki trainer, B. Burgess whose colours he will be carrying. The Eosewing filly in the same race, vrho is from the Linacre mare Linlass the dam also of the successful Whittingham, has been named Wait and- See. This filly -was purchased by the Wellington bloodstock salesman, Mr. C. E Robertson, at the Sydney sales last .taster, ana she attracted attention, recently by leading a juvenile parfcde home at the Manawatu Hunt Meeting. • The other unnamed acceptor is the Cape Horn-Klilceit four-year-old gelding in the Maiden Stakes, and for him his_ breeder-owner, Mr. B. Burgess, has claimed the appelation of Walton Park His dam (Kileeit) was a useful performer, and she is a half-sister to two excellent stud matrons, Egotism (dam of Jaloux, Pride, Wayward, etc.), and Oddity (dam of Laity, Royal Artist,
