CHURCH EXTENSION FUND

CHRISTCHURCH, 11th October.
The Baptist Union Conference decided to-day that the assembly appoint a- denominational evangelist and that the executive committee present details of the scheme to a later meeting of the assembly.
It was reported that a special jubilee fund for church extension has been formed with an initial gift of £500 from thp Auckland Tabernacle. Moneys in the fund will be lent to tho churches free of interest. A. committee of five is to be appointed to administer the fund.
