CHRISTCHUBCH, This Day. By_ 26 votes to 7 the Christchurch Bowling Centre expressed disapproval of the following motion: "'That permission in. future be granted to all clubs making application to hold open tournaments on-Sunday.'-' ■ ■ • Several members 'stated that, while they wero not opposod to Sunday-play timong members,- they disliked the idea of organised, play under the centre's jurisdiction.
