At the Leiehlarat Stadium last night there were uproarious scenes when the wrestler, Tom Lurich, opposed Walter

The fun began in ti& sixth round. Lurieh tore the rcferefe^s shirt off and threw it among the spectators. Tho referee retaliated and threw Lurieh, who was spreadc-agled in the Press scats.

Lurich later again fall foul of the referee, who planted a straight left to his jaw. The CTowd rocked with laughter. The contest was awarded to Lurich by one fa3l to nil..

Billy Meeske was then, introduced as Lunch's next opponent. The latter refused the usual conrtcty handshake, whereupon Meeske punched him on the nose, which -was the climax to a wild night, Lurich having to :beat a hasty retreat to his dressing rpom to avoid the crowd's wrath.
