BIG AINTREE STEEPLES

The conditions of this year's Liverpool Gra"nd; National Steeplechase, to be held on Friday, 18th March, stipulate that horses must bs qualified at the time of ehtr'y^by haying been placed first, second, or third (by the judge) in v steeplechase of three miles or upwards, value 200 soys to the winner, or the equivalent in foreign distances and money, or in a steeplechase, at Aintree, Liverpool, or have won any steeplechase value 500 soys, or the equivalent in foreign money to the winner, selling races in every case excepted. These conditions • differ from those of last year in respect oi the qualifying period, as in the last Grand National horses could be entered, and need hot qualify until 17th March.
