LEVIN, This Day.

■ Safe breakers were operating in the Levin district last night, Robert Hannah's premises being broken into at Levin and a raid mado on tho Ohau Post Office.

At Hannah 's the safe was removed I and broken open on the outskirts of the- town, and a sum of £20 is missing. Between seventy and eighty pairs of shoos arc also stolen from tho shop. Tho safe ivas removed from the Post Office, apparently in a motor-car, and hos not been traced. It contained about £30 worth of p&stal notes, stamps,' .money, orders, aid a. little cash.
