LITTLE GIRLS INJURED

Two little girls, aged six and four years, daughters of Mr. Frank Kershaw, Hutt River Board foreman, of Marsden street, Lower Hutt, -were knocked down by a motor-car, which was being driven north along High street, by Mr. A. F. Bayly, of Laing's road, Lower Hutt, yesterday afternoon. The children were crossing the road at the High street entrance to Riddiford Park, -when struck by the car. The younger was not seriously injured, but the car passed over the elder, Joau, who was cut about the face and had her body badly bruised. She was taken, to a private hospital, which reports to-day that her condition is much improved.
