"When we went on the Wai* rakei trip, we saw one geyser in par* ticular that I would, like to mention. It was called''The Dancing Bock,' and had a triple, action. First- of, all, *'■ huge rock in the centre of the pool started jogging up and down; then thai geyser came; and after every second, time, it resulted in 'The Paddle Wheel/ The water was churned up just as aj paddle steamer churns np the sea. "One day we went to Whaka.. Guidfll Bella told us lots of old Maori legends, and sang some Maori songc and incantations for Daddy. She also made m# a mat, as I was: the 'baby of the party.* We looked around her house, and. even. went into somo of the Maori store huts and the Tohunga's hut We had to come away too soon, really, for-.we did have a wonderful time." .
