PRISONERS SENTENCED

1 DUNEDIN, This Day. Prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Kennedy to-day as follows:—James Kent Cabral, aged 22, for burglary and theft, eighteen months' reformative detention, concurrent with the sentence he is now serving; Harold Gordon Kindley, aged 25, married, for carnal knowledge (two charges), eighteen months' imprisonment, and for unlawfully supplying an instrument, fourteen days* imprisonment; Cuthbert Earl McKeagg, aged 26, married, for burglary, theft, and receiving stolen goods, eighteen months' reformative detention; Albert Leslie McKcagg, aged 22, and Desmond Joseph Benfell, aged 19, for burglary and theft, three years' probation; Elizabeth Marion MeKenzie, aged 49, on twenty-two charges of burglary and a theft at seaside cottages, two and a half years' reformative detention; Joseph Marks, aged 26, receiving stolen goods, eighteen months' reformative detention; Herbert MeGec, for common assault on a girl, seven days' imprisonment; James Hall Morris, aged 34, for ;irson, three years' reformative detention. .
