UNFAIRNESS ALLEGED

CHBISTCHUKCH, 4th February
"That this meeting of shareholders bf the Christehurch Gas Company instructs the Board of Directors to convey to the Government a strong protest against the injustice of being levied large sums for income tax while our competitor, being publicly owned, is exempt from assessment," was a resolution passed at the annual meeting of tho Christehurch Gas Company to-day. ______
