SPEEDWAY RACING
TO-MORROWS CONTESTS.
A varied list of events to be decided at the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway tomorrow night includes a contest to be started under a. new system. luslend of sending the competitors away on time handicaps, the "fields" will be dispatched at the one time, competitors starting from marks on and behind scratch. Kilmiatcr will be asked to concede 105 yards to the scratch men. and Key will be on a mark 100 yards behind scratch. In this contest the twelve best riders will participate. Apart from another handicap, under the usual conditions, there will be match and challenge racing. The series of duels from rolling starts should provide plenty of interest and excitement, especially when Key and Kilmister are in action. Also entertaining for the spectators should be a special novelty event. This will be of a different type from any previous events onthe cinders, and the conditions ffive promise of amusing happenings. There will be no meeting on the following Saturday.
